What is IOP?
IOP is a structured level of outpatient care providing 9–15 hours of therapy per week. It's designed for people who need more support than weekly therapy but don't require inpatient or residential treatment — or as a step-down after higher-level care.
Programs Available
IOP works for a wide range of situations — from step-down after PHP or inpatient, to stepping up when weekly therapy isn't enough.
For anxiety, depression, trauma, bipolar disorder, and other mental health conditions requiring structured daily support.
For alcohol, opioid, stimulant, and other substance use disorders. Dual diagnosis treatment for co-occurring mental health and SUD.
The most common transition after inpatient or residential treatment. IOP bridges the gap between intensive care and independent living.
