Group Therapy

You're Not the Only One
Going Through This.

Group therapy isn't a waiting room for real therapy. It's a clinically proven format where shared experience accelerates progress — led by a licensed clinician, not just peer-run.

The Trademark Approach

Not Just Support. Structured,
Clinician-Led Progress.

Licensed Clinicians Lead Every Group

Every group at Trademark is facilitated by a licensed clinician — not a peer volunteer. Clinical structure, evidence-based techniques, and professional oversight are standard.

Curated, Purposeful Groups

Groups are formed around shared experiences or goals — not random assignment. You'll be with people who understand what you're dealing with because they're dealing with it too.

Complements Individual Therapy

Group therapy can run alongside individual therapy for clients who want both. The formats reinforce each other — different angles on the same work.

Getting Started

From First Call to
First Group Session.

1

The First Call

You call and tell us what you're dealing with. We'll recommend the group format that makes the most sense and answer every question you have about what it's actually like.

2

Brief Intake

Before joining a group, we do a brief individual intake to make sure the group is the right fit and you're prepared for the format. It's quick — not a barrier.

3

Your First Session

Groups are small. Confidentiality is a firm expectation. Your first session is about getting comfortable as much as making progress. That's normal.

Common Questions

Things People Ask About
Group Therapy Before Trying It.

For many conditions — yes, and sometimes more so. Peer validation, shared experience, and witnessing others' progress are therapeutic in ways that one-on-one therapy can't fully replicate. Research consistently supports group therapy's effectiveness.
Groups are small — typically 6–10 people. Participation is encouraged but you won't be forced to share before you're ready. Most people are surprised by how quickly the discomfort fades.
Yes. Confidentiality is a firm group agreement. Members are expected to keep everything shared in group private. The clinician enforces this expectation from session one.
Absolutely — many clients benefit from both. They work on different layers of the same issues and often reinforce each other.
That's what the intake call is for. Tell us what you're dealing with and we'll match you to the most appropriate group format. If nothing currently fits, we'll tell you what's coming up.
