Family Therapy

Families Are Complicated.
Getting Help Doesn't Have to Be.

Family therapy works when families are willing to sit in the same room — or the same Zoom call — and do something different. We help make that possible.

The Trademark Approach

The Problem Isn't Usually
One Person. It's the System.

Systemic, Not Blame-Based

Family therapy looks at how the whole family functions — not who's at fault. Patterns, roles, and communication cycles are what we're working to change.

All Configurations Welcome

Biological families, blended families, single-parent households, multi-generational households — we work with family as it actually exists, not as it's supposed to look.

Coordinated When Needed

If a family member is also in individual or teen therapy, we can coordinate care across providers to make sure everyone's working toward the same goals.

What We Work With

Every Family Hits a Point
Where Something Has to Change.

These are some of the most common reasons families come to us. You don't need a crisis to benefit from family therapy.

Getting Started

One Call Is All It
Takes to Get Started.

1

The First Call

A parent or guardian calls — 15 minutes to understand what's happening and whether family therapy is the right first step. We'll tell you honestly if something else makes more sense.

2

The First Session

We meet whoever can be in the room. First sessions often include whoever is most affected and most willing. The goal is to understand the full picture before we set a direction.

3

A Shared Treatment Plan

Goals the whole family agrees to work toward — with clear expectations about what therapy looks like week to week. Progress is visible, not just felt.

Available Statewide

Common Questions

What Families Usually Ask
Before Starting.

Not always. We work with whoever is willing and available. Sometimes a session with a parent, a session with a sibling, and a combined session can all be part of the same plan.
It's common. We can often start with the willing members and expand from there. Sometimes individual progress within the family shifts the dynamic enough that others become open to joining.
Individual therapy focuses on one person's internal experience. Family therapy looks at the relationships and patterns between people — the system, not just the individual.
Yes. Multiple family members can join from the same home or different locations. Telehealth family therapy is available anywhere in Georgia.
It depends on the complexity of what you're working on. Some families see significant change in 8–12 sessions. Others benefit from longer engagement. We'll set realistic expectations in your first session.
